REFRESHING A GLOBAL ICON
Coca-Cola wanted to refresh the visual identity for their iconic drink Fanta!
We wanted to add that fresh hip Little Red Robot aesthetic to the brand’s “orange” heritage with the use of vivid colors with stylized well-crafted character designs.
This was a such a cool campaign with these easy-to-love little characters in a world a refreshing delight.
The universal language of play
A life-is-good spirit and a bubbly personality was designed for Fanta’s campaign throughout the entire system. Rooted in Fanta’s orange heritage, the identity exudes the brand’s sense of playfulness while boldly standing out on shelf or online. For the launch of the new identity, the short film we created generated tons of excitement as well, and later the spot aired as a TV spots in Thailand, Turkey, Greece, Mexico and beyond.
The work received numerous awards and accolades including landing in the AIGA Design Archives at the Denver Art Museum—a collection of over 10,000 objects that represent one of the largest and finest holdings of contemporary American communication design from approximately 1980 to the present.
